Consuelo Berlanga

Consuelo "Connie" Berlanga, age 74 passed away on January 6, 2012. Connie was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all who knew her. She enjoyed tending to her plants and listening to music. She dedicated her life to care for others, and will be dearly missed. She is preceded in death by her husband, Arturo Berlanga Jr.; father, Tomas Ysassi; sisters, Alicia Guerra, Eva Maldonado; brothers, Roberto Ysassi, and Tomas Ysassi Jr. Connie leaves behind her loving children, Priscilla Berlanga, Arturo (Linda) Berlanga, Thomas Berlanga, Dennis (Yvette) Berlanga, Robert Berlanga; mother, Marcela Berlanga; sisters, Emma (Elias) Vasquez, Irma (Conrad) Cantu; 5 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren; and numerous nephews and nieces. The family would like to give a special thanks to Angel Bright Hospice and Staff at The Palms Nursing Home. The family will be receiving friends at Trevino Funeral Home 3006 Niagara at Port on Wednesday, January 11, 2012 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Memorial Service to be held in her honor at 7:00 pm. Private burial to be held at a later date.
