Cruz Esquivel

Cruz Esquivel passed away on January 6, 2023, at the age of 71. He was a loving son, father, popo, brother, uncle, and friend. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He proudly worked at Sonny’s Barbacoa and Restaurant for over 13 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Atanacio Esquivel and Rebecca Esquivel Rosas; and son, Jose Cruz Esquivel, Jr.

Left behind to cherish Cruz's memories are his by his wife, Nelda Esquivel; stepdaughter, Ann Valencia (Joe); three children; four sisters; two brothers; and numerous grandkids, great- grandkids, nieces, and nephews.

The family will receive condolences on Wednesday, January 11, 2023, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara Port Ave; with a Prayer Service to be held at 7:00 PM. Services will conclude in the chapel that evening.
