Born on November 22, 1983, in San Jose, California, Crystal's gentle spirit and unwavering dedication to her family defined her life's journey. Crystal's early years in San Jose were filled with the warmth of a close-knit family. She was the cherished daughter of Celia Torres and the late Joe Torres, who preceded her in death. Crystal's vibrant personality was a light in the lives of her siblings, Alonzo Leal, Joe Torres III, Maggie Torres, Sally Leal, and Victoria Leal, with whom she shared an unbreakable bond. As a mother, Crystal's love knew no bounds. Her children, Caroline Guartuche, Loretta Guartuche, and Christian Torres were the center of her world. She instilled in them the values of compassion, resilience, and joy. Her guidance and affection will continue to be a guiding force in their lives. Crystal's passion for life was evident in her love for dancing. She moved through life with the grace and rhythm that she brought to the dance floor. Her colleagues and friends knew her as a hard worker, someone who approached every task with diligence and a positive attitude. Those who knew Crystal will remember her as loving, kind, and gentle. Crystal’s family will receive condolences on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. @ Port Ave.; with a Prayer Service to follow at 7:00 PM. Services will conclude that evening.
