D'Angela Irene Soliz, age 26, passed away on the 4th of July, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love, joy, and the sweet melody of her song that resonated with all who knew her. Born on May 12, 1998, in Corpus Christi, TX, D'Angela's vibrant spirit and infectious energy were evident from the very beginning.
D’Angela is preceded in death by her grandmother, Mary Anita Soliz; her aunt, Kathleen Annette Soliz; and her great-grandparents, Maria(Rodriguez) and Luciano Garcia.
D'angela is survived by her son, Aiden Guzman; her parents, Elizabeth Anne Soliz-Abrego (Michael); her sisters, Suzanne Renee Soliz, Ruby Anne Cantu, and her brother, Michael Luciano Abrego; her aunts, Jennifer Marie Soliz Cortez(Daniel), Margaret Ilene Soliz; and 11 close cousins, and 4 nieces and nephews.
D'Angela was a beautiful person with a big beautiful, contagious smile, and a little giggle, whose passions were as radiant as her personality. She found peace and contentment in the simple pleasures of fishing and crabbing, activities that brought her closer to the serene beauty of nature. Her love for music was profound, as she lent her voice to the harmonies of her Junior High School and church choirs, touching the hearts of all who listened. Singing was not just a hobby but a part of her soul's expression.
She had a flair for beauty, both in creating it and embodying it. D'Angela loved to put on makeup, each stroke of the brush an art form that illuminated her bubbly and positive disposition. Her laughter was a symphony, her presence a celebration, and her energy could light up the darkest of rooms. D'Angela was the epitome of a person who lived life to the fullest, embracing every moment with open arms and a radiant smile.
Her relationships were built on a foundation of sweetness and love. D'Angela had a unique ability to make each person feel special, seen, and heard. She cherished her time with her son and family above all else, creating memories that will be treasured and recounted for generations to come.
As we say goodbye to D'Angela, we celebrate the indelible mark she has left on our hearts and the beautiful legacy she has created through her son and the bonds of family and friendship that will never be broken. Let us carry forward the melody of her life in our daily actions, in kindness to strangers, in love for our families, and in the joy, we find in the simple pleasures of life. D'Angela's spirit will continue to sing, a harmonious refrain of what it means to live with an open heart, to be truly loving, thoughtful, and kind.
