Daniel Rodriguez
Daniel Rodriguez passed away on April 14, 2019 at the age of 71. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend. Daniel proudly served his country as a U.S. Marine for 12 years, which included two tours in Vietnam. He will be deeply missed by all whom knew and loved him.
He is preceded in death by his son, John Daniel Rodriguez; father, Salvador Rodriguez; brother, Genaro Rodriguez; brothers-in-law, Norman Daniels, Enrique Ponce, Ramon Garcia, and Rudy Ramon.
Among those left to cherish Daniel’s memory are his wife, Sara Rodriguez; son, Barry Rodriguez; daughters, Nicci Rodriguez, Shana Aretz, and Renee (Josh) Elrich; mother, Esperanza Rodriguez; step-children, Randy (Patty) Seaver, Ronnie (Phumpa) Seaver, and George Schoenborn; siblings, Emelinda Daniels, Bertha Ponce, Ofelia Chapa, Larry (Becky) Rodriguez, Jo Garcia, Sylvia Ramon, Salvador (Becky) Rodriguez, Jr., Leonel Rodriguez, and Rachel (Gilbert) Villarreal; 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
A graveside service with military honors will take place on Wednesday, April 17, 2019, at 1:00 PM at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.
