Daniel Rodriguez

Daniel Rodriguez passed away on April 22, 2017 at the age of 70. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather who loved to fish, smoke cigars, and spend time with his grandchildren. Daniel was a Retired Military War Veteran.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Alma Rodriguez; parents, Frank and Hortencia Rodriguez; sister, Olga Bazan; brothers, Frank, Jr., Roy, and Richard Rodriguez.

Daniel is survived by his children, Yvonne (Mark) Liming, Daniel “Danny” Rodriguez, Jr., David (Casie) Rodriguez, Veronica (John) Alvarez, and Darrell (Ashley) Rodriguez; his grandchildren, Alex, Jacob, Arielle, Jacob Tyler, Alyssa, Devon, Ethan, Seleste, Maddy, Noah, Kaden, and Layla; siblings, Martin (Nora) Rodriguez, Gloria Acuña, Vicka (Javier) De La Rosa, and Norma (Joe) Vela; and numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.

The family will be receiving friends on Saturday, April 29, 2017 from 1pm to 4pm at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. at Port, Corpus Christi, Texas; with a Prayer Service to be held at 3pm. Daniel will be laid to rest at 9:30am on Monday, May 1, 2017 at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas with full military honors.

After Saturday services, the family will be having a celebration of life at Bay Bar and Grill 4855 S. Alameda, Corpus Christi, Texas.
