David R. Castaneda

David Castañeda passed away on January 29, 2017 at the age of 56.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Demetrio and Mary Castañeda; brother, Demetrio Ramiro Castañeda; sister, Sandra Cavazos.

David is survived by his wife, Mary Helen Castañeda; children, Joseph David Castañeda, Demetrio “Demi” Castañeda, Ashley (Isaac) Rios, and Joel Roman Castañeda; grandsons, Isaiah, Isaac, and Josiah; sister, Suzi (Rod) De Luna; brother, Ruben (Mary) Castañeda; numerous nephews, nieces, and extended family members.

The family will be receiving condolences on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. at Port from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.; with a Holy Rosary be recited at 7:00 p.m. A cremation will follow.
