David Lee Pearl August 5th 1955 - September 15th 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of David Pearl, who left this world on September 15th at the age of 70 years young. A loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, husband, mentor, and friend, David was a man whose stories will linger long after the laughter fades.

A storyteller at heart, David's tales—often wildly exaggerated, always entertaining—brought laughter to many. Whether recounting wild adventures, childhood mischief, or outlandish encounters, you never knew where the truth ended and the imagination began, and that was part of his magic. His humor was his signature, a trickster with a twinkle in his eye. David could turn a quiet evening into a comedy show, and a simple conversation into a cherished memory. He reminded us that joy is found not in the grand gestures, but in the shared chuckles and stories passed around.

An avid outdoorsman, David found solace in nature; whether it was fishing, hunting, hiking, or simply sharing quiet moments around a campfire, he cherished the beauty of nature. These moments were even more special when shared with those he loved, for he believed that the greatest gift one could give was time spent together with family and friends.

David is survived by his wife, Tina; his children, Teri, Diana (Lee), Julie (Ro), Robert (Mariela); his grandchildren, Mariana, Emily, Sofia, Riley, George, Sarah, Amorina; his great-grandson, Elijah; and many other family members and friends. He is predeceased by his parents and son-in-law, Jeremy Garza.

A viewing will be held at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara Dr, Corpus Christi, TX 78405, on Friday, September 19th, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. A brief graveside service and burial will follow at Duncan Cemetery, 2500 Debra Lane, Corpus Christi, TX 78418. Afterwards, we invite all who knew and loved Dave to gather at 229 Juniper Dr. to share stories, laughter, and remember a man who lived and loved large.
