David F. Perez, a cherished father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on December 20, 2024, in Corpus Christi, TX, at the age of 73. Born on June 27, 1951, in Sinton, TX, David's life was a testament to the joy and love he brought into the world. David's legacy is carried on by his loving family, including his ex-wife, Dawne Patterson; his brothers, Donnie, Dizzy, Dwight, and Danny; his children, Megan Alejandro, David Michael Perez, and Skylar Perez; and his adored grandchildren, Cyrus, Cassius, Robbie, Kevin, Kasia, Chanel, and Madison. Each of them was a source of immense pride and happiness for David, and he cherished every moment spent with them. Known for his infectious smile and generous spirit, David had an extraordinary ability to make friends wherever he went. His presence was a comfort and a joy to those around him. He had a knack for storytelling and could often be found regaling friends and family with tales of his adventures, both big and small. David's passion for life was evident in his many interests. He was an avid bodybuilder, dedicating himself to the discipline and strength required by the sport. His love for the outdoors was shared with his son and daughter through countless fishing trips, creating memories that would last a lifetime. David was also a devoted fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the San Francisco 49ers, and he enjoyed the camaraderie and excitement of watching the games with friends and family. Above all, David's greatest joy came from being with his children and grandchildren. He took every opportunity to be involved in their lives, offering support, wisdom, and unconditional love. His grandchildren, in particular, brought him immeasurable joy, and he reveled in their accomplishments and growth. To have known David was to know a man with the biggest heart and a loving soul.
