David Salazar

David Salazar passed away on Monday, December 5, 2016, in Corpus Christi, TX, at the age of 53. He was a loving father and grandfather. David enjoyed the outdoors, spending time with his children and grandson, and was a big fan of the Dallas Cowboys. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Eugenio and Modesta Prado Salazar; uncles, Alejandro Salazar and Santiago Salazar; aunt, Josephina Salazar. David leaves behind his daughter, April R. Salazar; son, Alejandro David Salazar; step-daughter, Felicia Hernandez; mother, Isabel Salazar; sisters, Sara Garza and Lupita Salazar; ex-wife, Mary Rodriguez; grandson, Jacob John Barrientes; five step-grandchildren; best friend, Andres Martinez; numerous uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces and cousins. The family will be receiving friends on Saturday, December 10, 2016, from 5 to 9 PM at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. at Port; with a Prayer Service held at 7:00 pm. Cremation will follow.
