David G. Perez, Sr.

David G. Perez, Sr, better known as “Comino”, gained his wings on November 22, 2021. He passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family.

David was a hard worker; in his younger years he worked in the oilfield. He worked passionately as a mechanic. David enjoyed riding his Harley, making friends throughout his Motorcycle Chapters. David had a contagious smile that would steal your heart. He enjoyed listening to music while barbequing and especially loved family gatherings.

He was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, son, brother, and friend. David will be truly missed by all who knew him and loved him.

David is preceded in death by his son, David Perez, Jr; father, George Perez, Sr; brothers, George Perez, Jr, and Oscar Perez; and son-in-law, Devin Castillo.

David is survived by his son, Miguel Angel (Vanessa) Perez; daughters, Monica Perez Castillo (Kenneth Skokan) and Veronica (Eric) Hults; mother, Manuela G. Perez; sister, Anna Lee Perez; mother of his children, Martha Balboa Rodriguez, sisters-in-law, Mary Ann Perez and Dalia Perez; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, and dear friends.

The family will receive condolences on Wednesday, November 24, 2021, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, at Trevino Funeral Home, 120 E. Front St., Alice, Texas; with the Holy Rosary to be recited at 12:30 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph Catholic Church at 2:00 PM.

Honoring David as honorary pallbearers will be Miguel Perez and Rey Balboa. Pallbearers will be Javier Gonzalez, Lionel Vela, Michael Hernandez, David Angel Perez, Eric Hults, and Mark DeLeon.
