Delfino Ortiz passed away on August 27, 2026, at the age of 58. Born on December 23,1967, Delfino will be remembered with love by those who knew him and shared in his life.

Delfino was a man who found joy in the things he loved most. He was a devoted Dallas Cowboys fan, and that enthusiasm was part of the spirit he brought to everyday life. He also treasured time spent with his buddies, enjoying their company and the friendships they shared. He loved country music, fishing, and enjoying a Bud Light. Above all, he loved bonding with his daughter, and that connection was a cherished part of his life.

He is survived by his daughter, MatildaElizabeth Valadez. He is also survived by his siblings, Maria Vasquez, Juan Ortiz, Tomas Ortiz, Maria De Rosario Chavero, Luz Medrano, Sabina Fernandez, Mauricio Ortiz, Mari Luna, and Alejandro Ortiz. Each of them carries forward memories of Delfino and the place he held in their family.

Delfino was preceded in death by his father, Andres Ortiz; his mother, Francisca Sanchez; and his brothers, Octaviano Ortiz and Nicholas Ortiz Sr.
