Demetruis Larue Rodriguez

Demetrius LaRue Rodriguez, age 23, passed away on August 26, 2012. He was always a "Little Big Brother" who looked out for everyone. He enjoyed his role of dad to Demi, Jr.; they went kiting and enjoyed the beach together. Demi was an accomplished welder and took great pride in his work. He also was an expert at helping others. Demi had a passion for music and he might have begun to figure out a way to weld his Ipod to his ear for an even greater enjoyment. He will be dearly missed by all whom knew him. He leaves behind his loving mother, Beatrice Rodriguez; father, Philbert Rodriguez; girlfriend, Stephanie Rivera; son, Demetrius LaRue Rodriguez Jr.; siblings, Jon (Marialinda) Rodriguez; Olivia Rodriguez, Isaac Rodriguez; nephews, Timothy Rodriguez, Ethan Rodriguez; and numerous aunts and uncles. The family will be receiving friends at Trevino Funeral Home 3006 Niagara at Port on Tuesday, August 28, 2012 from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm; with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm. Rites of Christian burial will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 10:00 am on Wednesday, August 29, 2012; interment to follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
