Diana Yolanda Contreras

Diana Yolanda Contreras “Ya-Ya”, 70, passed away on July 11, 2017. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and a great grandmother of two with one on the way. Her love will live forever and all her memories will shine through the sorrow. She is preceded in death by her late husband, Ramon Jose Contreras; parents, Guadalupe “Wally” Castillo and Irma Dolores “Lola” Castillo; and brother, Guadalupe S. “Curly” Castillo. Diana is survived by her son, Richard (Laura) Contreras and their children, James and Jacqueline Contreras; son, Ramon J. Contreras, Jr.; son, Reynaldo J. (Monique) Contreras and their children, Joey, Branden and Marissa Contreras; daughter, Debra (Carlos) Montez and their children, Bobby, Adriana, Jessica Perez, Carlos Montez, Jr., and Katalina Montez; sisters, Monica (Cha-chi) Castillo, and Linda (Mark) Calhoun; brother, Daniel (Brenda) Castillo. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended relatives.

The family will receive condolences on Friday, July 14, 2017 at Trevino Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. at Port from 5 to 9 in the evening; where a Holy Rosary will be recited at 7.

Funeral cortege will depart the funeral chapel at 12 p.m. on Saturday, July 15, 2017 to St. Joseph Catholic Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:30 p.m.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
