Diana Garcia passed away on September 27, 2026, at the age of 57. Born on November 30, 1968, in Kansas City, Missouri, Diana will be remembered with deep love for her vibrant personality, her devotion to her family, and the many memories she leaves behind.

Diana had a vibrant spirit and a personality all her own, but above all, she loved her family deeply. Her daughters and grandchildren were at the heart of her life, and she treasured the time she spent with them and the memories they created together. A Kansas City native, Diana remained deeply proud of her hometown throughout her life and loved cheering on her Kansas City Chiefs and Royals. Music was another source of joy for Diana, with “September” by Earth, Wind & Fire holding a special place among her favorite songs. She also had a lifelong love of fashion and a natural sense of style, something those who knew her recognized from the time she was young.

Diana is survived by her beloved husband of 27 years, Jose Victor Sanchez; her daughters, Marisa Montiel and husband Michael Montiel, Alexa Napoles and husband Miguel Napoles, and Ariana Victoria Sanchez; and her cherished grandchildren, Milania Montiel, Micah Montiel, Mattea Montiel, and Miguel Napoles. She is also survived by her mother, Victoria Garcia (Aguilera); her father, Manuel Garcia; and her sisters, Christina Trevino, Leticia Garcia, Rosalinda Garcia, and Adriana Garcia. Her family will carry forward countless memories of her laughter, her love, and the one-of-a-kind spirit that made Diana who she was.

Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of Diana’s life at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. at Port Ave., on Friday, October 9, 2026. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., followed by the recitation of the Holy Rosary and Liturgy of the Word beginning at 11:30 a.m. The Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Rose Hill Memorial Park, where Diana will be laid to rest.

Diana will be deeply missed and forever remembered by those who loved her. Her devotion to her family, her vibrant personality, and the joy she found in the things she loved will live on in the memories of those fortunate enough to have shared in her life.
