Diane Hernandez Barron, beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 7, 2026, in San Antonio, Texas. Born on October 8, 1970, Diane lived a life filled with love, warmth, and devotion to her family and those around her.
Diane’s greatest joys stemmed from the time she spent surrounded by the people she cherished most. Her home was a place of laughter and celebration, where every family gathering was a special occasion. She found happiness in dancing, sharing stories, and creating cherished memories. Diane especially loved hosting barbecue cookouts that brought together family and friends, filling her home with the irresistible aromas of her cooking and the comforting sound of laughter. Evening drives downtown by the water were among her favorite quiet pleasures, providing peaceful moments to reflect and unwind. In her quieter hours, Diane found solace in coloring, an activity that brought her calm and gave her another outlet for her joyful spirit.
Diane is survived by her loving husband, Jasper Barron III, whose partnership and devotion were a constant source of happiness in her life. She leaves behind her devoted mother, Hilda (Mando) Newman, whose guidance and support were foundational to Diane’s character. Diane is also survived by her children, Le Anna Marie Hernandez (Jeremy Morales), Nancy Selena (Michael) Gallardo, Robert Anthony Barron (Mary Guzman), Roland Rene Barron (Lexy Llamas), Raven Aaliyah Barron, Gabriel Torres, and Andrew Torres. Her legacy continues in her grandchildren, Eliud Jr, Elianna, Evan Sierra, Kaylee, Kyliee, Kaylanee Gallardo, Amara Llamas, and Jasper Barron IV, each of whom brought boundless pride and joy into her life.
Diane’s bonds with her siblings were deep and enduring. She is remembered by her brothers, Guadalupe (Debbie) Hernandez, Juan Hernandez, and Vicente (Laura) Hernandez, and her sisters, Belinda (Victor) Rojas, Lydia (Lorenzo) Martinez, and Sandra (Pete) Silva. They recall her as a loving sister who enriched every family occasion with her warmth and humor.
She is lovingly remembered by her extended family and mourned by all who had the privilege to know her. Diane’s life was touched by loss as well, and she is preceded in death by her father, Guadalupe Hernandez Jr., father-in-law, Jasper Barron Sr., and her daughters, Jasmine Nikole and Jaslyn Barron, whom she now joins in peace.
Diane’s spirit will be honored by those closest to her, including her pallbearers, Jasper Barron III, Robert Anthony Barron, Roland Rene Barron, Michael Gallardo, Jeremy Morales, Lorenzo Martinez, Joshua Kretzmerier, and Vicente Hernandez.
Though Diane is no longer with us, the precious memories she created, a lifetime of laughter, gatherings, gentle encouragement, and steadfast love, will remain forever etched in the hearts of her family and friends. Her warmth, loving presence, and joyful soul will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate to know her.
May Diane Hernandez Barron rest in eternal peace, her remarkable legacy living on through those who loved her so dearly.
