Dominga R. Sanchez

Dominga R. Sanchez passed away on March 29, 2021 at the age of 72.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend.  She will be dearly missed by all whom knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rufino Galvan; sons, Robert Martinez and Guadalupe Sanchez; and daughters, Ester Marie Martinez, Belinda Sanchez Huelings, and Rosalinda Sanchez.

Dominga is survived by her daughter, Velma (Robert) Sanchez; son, Armando (Melanie) Sanchez Jr; a grandson she considered her son, Guadalupe Perez Jr.; grandchildren, Ashrya Garza, Jennifer Martinez, Noelia Martinez, Juan Hill, Eric Hill, Jesse Davila, Armando Davila, Israel Sanchez, Carmen Flores, Abigail Sanchez, Aubrel Sanchez, Aleigha Sanchez, Olivia Sanchez, Armani Perez, and A.J. Perez; 19 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

The family will receive condolences on Tuesday, April 6, 2021, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Trevino Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. @ Port; with a chapel service to begin at 2:00 pm.  Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Face masks must be worn, and social distancing must be practiced while attending funeral services due to the current pandemic.
