Domingo P. Garibay, a cherished soul known for his loving nature, kindness, and infectious humor, passed away on January 30, 2025, in his hometown of Corpus Christi, TX, at the age of 52. Born on October 18, 1972, in Corpus Christi, Domingo's life was a testament to the joy and laughter he brought to all who knew him. Domingo's early years in Corpus Christi were filled with the warmth of a close-knit family and the joys of childhood adventures. As he grew, so did his passion for life and the simple pleasures it offered. He was a man who found happiness in the clack of billiard balls, the excitement of a wrestling match, the flavors of a well-cooked meal, and the sound of laughter resulting from his witty jokes. He is survived by his loving children, Zoey, Brandon, Andrew, and Icsac Garibay, who will carry forward the legacy of their father's generous spirit. Domingo's memory will also be cherished by his devoted parents, Lucy Krieder and Domingo Garibay, Jr., as well as his siblings, Erika, Vanessa, and Antonio Garibay, who shared in the light of his presence. His three grandchildren, who brought him immense joy, will miss their grandfather's playful spirit and tender care. Domingo's life was a reflection of the values he held dear: love, family, and the pursuit of happiness. His absence will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing him, yet his memory will continue to inspire laughter and love in the hearts of his family and friends. Domingo’s family will receive condolences Thursday, February 6, 2025, at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St., from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM, with Prayer Service at 1:00 PM. Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park at 2:30 PM.
