Domingo Francisco G. Salazar, Sr. passed away on November 7, 2017 at the age of 73. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, son, brother, and uncle. Frank proudly served his country in the United States Army.
He is preceded in death by his father, Jose T. Salazar and brother, Joe “Mickey” Salazar, Jr.
Frank is survived by his wife, Modesta Salazar; children, Domingo Frank (Odilia) Salazar, Jr., Juan Jose (Elisa) Salazar, Ida Salazar, Velinda (RJ) Long, and Francisco Domingo (Heather) Salazar; mother, Elvira G. Salazar; siblings, Josie Figueroa, Henry Salazar, Linda S. (Joe) Rodela, Margie Rodriguez of Modesto, Ca., Abel (Rosalinda) Salazar, Janie (Ruben) Garcia, Delia (Raul) Garcia, and Mary Ann (Miguel) Salazar; 17 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; numerous nephews, nieces, and extended family.
The family will receive condolences on Friday, November 10, 2017 at Treviño Funeral Home 3006 Niagara St. at Port, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.; where a vigil for the deceased and a holy rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m., and a prayer service at 8:00 p.m. A chapel service will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at Trevino Funeral Home at 12:00 p.m. Funeral cortege will depart the funeral chapel at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 11, 2017 to Memory Gardens Cemetery for Rite of Committal and Interment.
