Dr. Rondal Elwood Tweedy

Dr. Rondal Elwood Tweedy, born on June 13, 1945, in Burkesville, KY, peacefully passed away on April 20, 2024, at the age of 79, in Corpus Christi, TX. He served twice in the Airforce, proudly contributing to his country. Rondal held a doctrine in theology and was dedicated to his educational pursuits.

Rondal had a deep passion for fishing, Harleys, playing his guitar, and counseling others. His hobbies brought him joy and fulfillment throughout his life.

Rondal is proceeded in death by his beloved wife, Jean Cardinle Tweedy; his mother, Doris Norris McCoy; his brother Jerry Tweedy; and his daughter, Theresa Maria Tweedy. Rondal is survived by his son, Ben Tweedy; his niece, Hahna Tweedy; his cousins, Linda, Stacey, and Patty; his daughter, Nadine Blake; and his grandchildren Adam Edwards, Cody Blake, and Amber Molina.

Rite of Committal and Inurnment with Military Honors will be held on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at 10:00 AM, at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.
