Ector B Escalante

Ector B. Escalante passed away on July 9, 2020 at the age of 67.  He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. Ector enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, taking drives with his wife, and sitting to enjoy great conversation over a cup of coffee.  Ector was a hard worker and always helped everyone. He will be deeply missed by all whom knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Miguel and Clarita Escalante, Sr., his wife, Beatriz Escalante, and grandson, Erick A. Cuevas.

Among those left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Monica (Luis) Gaitan and Cynthia Garcia Ramirez; sons, Hector Escalante, Jr.  and Brian J. Escalante; sisters, San Juanita (David) Rodriguez and Maria Alicia Escalante Cervantes; brothers, Miguel (Lydia) Escalante and Santiago (Anna) Escalante, grandchildren, Kayla Benavidez, Monique Benavidez, Luis A. Gaitan, Giovanni A. Gaitan, Miranda L. Puente, Jomara A. Gaitan, Jacqueline A. Escalante, Sarela A. Almaraz, Brianna Garcia, Aaron Vega, and Brilee Escalante; great-grandchildren, Jose Luis Ramirez, Jr. and Alexavier Y. Lynch; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

The family will be receiving condolences from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Wednesday, July 22, 2020, at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. @ Port; with a rosary to be recited at 7 pm.  Services will conclude that evening.

Trevino Funeral Home requires anyone attending funeral services wear a face mask due to the current pandemic.
