Edna Molina

Edna Girodengo Molina passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at the age of 84.  She was a wonderful loving sister, aunt, and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was an intelligent, dedicated, generous, full of life, and hard-working woman who worked many years for Braslau’s Fine Furniture Store, Yates Ford, and Alice Dialysis Center. She was also a very devoted, prayerful, and faithful active lifetime member of St Joseph Catholic Church.

Edna loved to cook and bake; she made the best tamales ever, and her delicious pan de polvo would melt in your mouth. For Easter, hamburgers, hotdogs, and candy were her specialty for all the family and friend’s children. For Thanksgiving and Christmas she would cook lots of turkeys; along with all the trimmings and baked deserts to generously give to her family, co-workers, and friends.

Edna is preceded in death by the love of her life and husband of 61 years, Manuel P. Molina; her father, Bartolo Girodengo, from Italy; her mother, Maria Vela de Girodengo, from Mexico; sister, Elma Girodengo; and brother-in-law, Domingo Gonzalez.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her nephew, Ramon Vela III, and his wife, Gloria Anna Vela, whom she acknowledged as “My Angels”, my babies, and my kids; sisters-in-law, Maria M. Ruiz and Julia M. Gonzalez; brothers-in-law, Regino (Lydia) Molina and Mauricio (Ernesta) Molina; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.

At this time, services are pending.
