Eduardo "Eddie" Garza, Jr.

Eduardo Garza, Jr. passed away on February 27, 2017 at the age of 65. Eddie was a loving father, son, brother, grandfather, and uncle. He will be dearly missed by all who loved him.

He is preceded in death by his father, Eduardo Garza, Sr. and step-father, Jesus H. Garcia.

Eduardo is survived by his son Eduardo Garza, III; daughter, Monica (Dashoan Powell) Garza; mother, Guadalupe Laurel; sisters, Sofia (John) Hernandez and Sabrina (Charlie) Salazar; granddaughters, Arianna Powell and T’Anna Powell; 3 nieces, 2 nephews and 4 grand-nieces.

The family will be receiving friends from 6pm – 8pm on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at Our Lady of Corpus Christi, 1200 Lantana St.; with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7pm. Rites of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am on Friday, March 3, 2017 at St. Joseph Catholic Church; Cremation will follow.
