Efrain Hernandez Sr.

Efrain Hernandez Sr. of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away on Thursday, October 7, 2021 at the age of 66. Efrain was born to the late Concepcion and Piedad (Navarro) Hernandez in Weslaco, Texas. He attended college at the University of Mexico in Monterrey, Mexico where he studied Architecture.  Efrain Hernandez Sr. moved his family to Corpus Christi in the early 80’s where he established his name in the Industrial Industry. He humbly afforded opportunities and paved the way for many individuals including his sons and grandsons in this industry.

Efrain is preceded in death by his parents; granddaughter, Brooke Lindsey Hernandez; and eldest brother, Erasmo Hernandez.

Family left behind with sadden hearts filled with joyful memories include his son, Efrain (Jennifer) Hernandez Jr., and grandchildren, Klarissa, Krista (Aaron), Efrain III, Leah Piedad; his daughter, Mariza (Richard) Rodriguez, and grandson, Richie; his son, Oscar Jaime (Vanessa) Hernandez, and grandchildren, Aleena, Chanel, L’Oréal, Mikael, Oscar II, Daniela, KaL’eo;  and sisters, brothers, and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family whom he loved dearly.

The family will receive condolences on Sunday, October 24, 2021, at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. @ Port, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM; with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 6:00 PM. A Chapel Service will be held on Monday, October 25, 2021, at 12:30 PM at Treviño Funeral Home followed by Rite of Committal and Interment at Memory Gardens Cemetery in the Garden of Our Lady of Guadalupe.

Face masks must be worn, and social distancing must be practiced while attending funeral services.
