Eglantina Canales

Eglantina Canales, age 89, passed away on July 17, 2015. She was a loving wife, mother, and sister. She will be dearly missed. Eglantina is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Martin Canales Barrera; sisters, Ofelia (Eleuterio) Lopez, Alicia (Raul) Hinojosa, Isabel (Adan) Barrera, and Donato (Elenita) Barrera. She is survived by her loving son, Arnoldo B. Canales; and numerous nephews and nieces. The family will be receiving friends at Treviño Funeral Home 3006 Niagara at Port on Friday, July 24, 2015 from 3 pm to 9 pm; with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7 pm. Rites of Christian burial will be celebrated at Holy Family Catholic Church at 10 am on Saturday, July 25, 2015; burial will follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
