Elida Flores Riojas

Elida Flores Riojas passed away on September 28, 2020 at the age of 83.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.  She will be missed by all whom knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin and Concepcion Flores; grandmother, Micaela S. Flores; and siblings, Ofelia Herrera and Juventino Flores.

Elida is survived by her children, Carlos A. Flores, Jose H. Riojas II, and Micaela G. Peña Riojas; grandchildren, Annalisa M. Riojas, Stephanie L. Peña, Nicki Rae Peña, Thomas Peña Jr., Nadia Rae Riojas, December Grace Riojas, and Jayce Santos; great-grandchildren, Hector Jose Vasquez, Kaylynn M. Vasquez, Dillan N. Vasquez, Alona R. Vasquez, and Alexander A. Vasquez; and siblings, Armandina Oskel, Benjamin Flores, Robert (Evelina) Flores, and Yolanda Codarmez.

The family will be receiving condolences from 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm on Monday, October 5, 2020, at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. @ Port; with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm.  A chapel service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, October 6, 2020, at Treviño Funeral Home with interment to follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.

Face masks must be worn and social distancing must be practiced while attending funeral services due to the current pandemic.
