Eliza Teresa Meyer

Eliza Teresa Meyer passed away on July 25, 2019 at the young age of 47. She was a loving daughter, sister, granddaughter, aunt, great aunt, and friend. Eliza will be deeply missed by all whom loved and knew her.

She is preceded in death by her children, Michael Anthony Meyer, Guadalupe Meyer, Jose Isabel Espinoza, and Aaron Garza; father, Cristoval Meza Aguirre; and paternal grandparents, Luis and Elisa Meza Aguirre.

Among those left to cherish Eliza’s memory are her mother, Maria Gloria Aguirre; siblings, Jose Luis Aguirre, Debra (Raul) Benavides, John Gabriel (Lorena) Aguirre, and Criselda Aguirre; maternal grandmother, Alicia (Memo) Vela; Uncle, Richard (Connie) Amparon; cousin, Michael Amparon; nephews and nieces, Robert (Alysha) Herrera, Krystal Herrera, Raul Benavides, III, Bersaida Asaneth Aguirre, John Gabriel Aguirre, Jr., and Richard Luis Aguirre; 5 great grandnieces; and extended family.

The family will receive condolences on Monday, July 29, 2019, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. @ Port; with a holy rosary followed by a funeral liturgy to begin at 6:30 pm. Services will conclude that evening and a cremation will follow.
