Elodia Garza

Elodia Garza, age 90, passed away on September 3, 2012. She joins in heaven her husband, Gilberto Resendez. Elodia leaves behind her loving children, Rosa Emma (Agustin) Alaniz, Hector (Blanca) Resendez, Danny (Martha Patricia) Resendez, David (Maria Luisa) Resendez; eight grandchildren, Barbara, Valeria, Hector Jr., Danny E., Raphael, Susan Patricia, David Jr., Adriana Lizeth; four great-grandchildren; brothers, Joel Garza Villarreal and Pedro Garza Villarreal; and numerous nephews and nieces. She will be dearly missed. The family will be receiving friends at Trevino Funeral Home 3006 Niagara at Port on from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm; with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church at 1:00 pm on Friday, September 7, 2012. Burial of cremains will follow at San Diego Cemetery.
