Enrique (Jr.) Garcia

Enrique Garcia, Jr. of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away on April 15, 2022, at the age of 71. He was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Enrique Garcia Sr. and Josefina Villarreal Garcia; sons, Jesus Reyes Garcia and Felipe “Tino” Salazar Garcia; siblings, Hector Garcia, Edwardo “Lalo” Garcia, Elma Garcia, and Ernesto Garcia; and great-granddaughter, Baby Samantha.

Enrique proudly served in the US Army and retired from CCAD. Enrique was also a former DJ in the Alice area. He was the rock of his family and will always be known for his devotion, love, and caring demeanor towards everyone he met. Enrique enjoyed cooking and spending time with his loved ones.

Left behind to cherish his memories are his wife, Rose Mary Garcia; children, Michael Elias Garcia, Juan Sylvestre Garcia, Jose Antonio Garcia (Debra), and Ludivina Garcia Reyna (Luis); stepchildren, Abel Garcia, Jr. (Patricia), Lori Yanez (Rene), Denise Garcia, Michael Anthony Garcia, and Erica and Eric Garcia (twins); siblings, Enedelia Garcia Valerio (Leonel +), Rosa Garcia Flores (Benito), Erasmo Garcia, and Martin Garcia (Diana); and numerous grandchildren, great- grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family.

The family will receive condolences on Sunday, April 24, 2022, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Trevino Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara @ Port Ave; with a Holy Rosary to be held at 6:00 PM that evening. A funeral cortege will depart the funeral home at 12:00 PM on Monday, April 25, 2022, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:30 PM at Ss. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church. Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery at 2:00 PM with full military honors.
