Ernesto Garcia

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ernesto Garcia on Thursday, July 23, 2020 at the age of 56. He was a beloved husband to Patricia Garcia and loving father to Lisa, Cindy, and DoDo.  Ernesto was always out to lend a hand to better his community.  He loved to spend time with his children and grandchildren; he leaves us with many memories and blessings from his life.  His devotion and love will live through us forever. His life was filled with endless amounts of love for his family, friends, and community.

He is preceded in death by his father, Frank Garcia, Sr., and mother, Elisa Solis Flores.

Among those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Patricia L. Garcia; children, Lisa (Jose) Luna, Cindy (Gabriel Gomez) Garcia, and Robert “DoDo” (Bernice Morales) Garcia; siblings, Janie (Tim) Casanova, Betty (Alex) Estrada, Frank Garcia, Jr., and Mike Garcia; grandchildren, Isaiah (Danielle Gomez) Campos, Isabella Campos, Cassandra Gomez, Gabby Gomez, Abby Gomez, K.C. Garcia, Caroline Garcia, Kimberly Garcia, R.J. Garcia, and Kaley Garcia; great-grandchildren, Scarlett Campos, and on the way, Xander Riojas, Jr.; and numerous nephews, nieces, and extended family.

The family will receive condolences on Thursday, July 30, 2020, at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. @ Port, from 5 PM to 9 PM; with a holy rosary to be recited at 7 PM.  Services will conclude that evening.

Trevino Funeral Home requires anyone attending funeral services wear a face mask due to the current pandemic.
