Ernesto Treviño

Ernesto Treviño, age 63, passed away on August 5, 2025, leaving behind a cherished legacy of love and laughter. Born on September 13, 1961, to Jose and Guadalupe Treviño, Ernesto was a devoted family man whose warmth and humor had a profound impact on all who knew him.

Throughout his life, Ernesto found joy in the simple pleasures. He was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the Houston Astros, and he enjoyed immersing himself in the thrilling episodes of "Ghost Adventures" and the charm of classic television shows. Yet, nothing brought him more happiness than spending time by the water, casting a line and waiting patiently for the tug of a fish. Fishing was not just a hobby for Ernesto; it was a cherished passion that allowed him to connect with nature and create lasting memories with family and friends.

Ernesto was preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Guadalupe Treviño; his brothers, Jose and Javier Treviño; and his sisters, Letty Treviño and Terry Treviño Snell.

Ernesto's love for his wife, Cynthia Treviño, was evident in everything he did. He always prioritized the happiness of his wife, children, and grandchildren, forging a strong bond with each of them that defined his legacy. His children, Amy (Edgar) Morales, Ernesto (Alejandra) Treviño, Jr., Daniel Lee (Victoria) Treviño, and Amanda Treviño, were continually reminded of their father's unwavering support and affection. His grandchildren, Madison and Damien Morales, Lillyian, Haven, Harley, Aliza, and Elyanna Treviño, were the light of his life, and his warm presence will be deeply missed by them. Ernesto had a special admiration for his siblings, Gilbert (Lydia) Treviño, Thelma (Israel) Blanco, and Angie and Leonel Treviño. He cherished the bonds with his aunts, uncles, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, all of whom enriched his life.

As we remember Ernesto Treviño, let us celebrate the love he brought into our lives, his infectious smile, and the countless joyful moments shared with family and friends. His spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.
