Estevan "Steve" Galvan, a lifelong resident of Corpus Christi, TX, passed away peacefully on October 23, 2023. Born on November 22, 1966, Steve was a beloved figure in his community, known for his warm heart, infectious laughter, and unwavering devotion to his family. Steve was the cherished son of Oscar M. Galvan and Andrea Prado Gonzalez. He was a loving father to his children, Jasmen Marie Galvan and Gabriel Alfonso Galvan, and a doting grandfather to Cassiel Carmona, Gwendolyn Carmona, Isabella Galvan, and Averee Galvan. His cousins, Armando Galvan and Elena Garcia, along with numerous extended family members, will remember him fondly. Steve was a passionate fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, and his love for the team was infectious. His family and friends will fondly remember the joy and excitement he brought to every game day. His enthusiasm was contagious, and he was known to turn even the most casual observer into a die-hard fan. In addition to his love for football, Steve had a deep appreciation for the simple pleasures in life. He enjoyed spending time with his family, sharing stories, and making memories that will be cherished for generations to come. Estevan "Steve" Galvan will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His memory will forever be a beacon of love, strength, and joy in the hearts of his loved ones. Steve’s family will receive condolences on Friday, October 27, 2023, from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara at Port Ave; with Liturgy of the Word to begin at 7:00 PM. Services will conclude in the chapel that evening.
