Eva Gonzales

Eva C. Gonzales, 73, passed away in the early morning of January 8, 2025. She was born in Cuero, TX on June 20, 1951, and she later moved to Corpus Christi where she remained until she was called home.

She is dearly loved and greatly missed by all of her family and friends. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great- grandmother. She was an avid Catholic who believed in God. Her hobbies were simply taking care of her plants and animals, but mainly spoiling her husband and grandchildren. She was always looking out to help not only her family, but also her friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Guadalupe and Victoria Camareno; brothers, Ben Camareno, Robert Camareno Sr., and Rudy Camareno Sr.; sisters, Gloria Ruiz, Alicia Mendez, and Rosa Salazar; as well as her grandson, Brandon C. Gonzales.

She leaves behind her husband of 52 years, Juan T. Gonzalez; her three children, Juan G. Gonzales (Lisa), Leticia A. Gonzales, and Adrian Gonzales; grandchildren, Heaven A. Gonzales, Zachary I. Gonzales, Marissa N. Trevino, Jeremiah A. Perez, and Laura M. Perez; and great-grandchildren, Adaliyn M. Torres and Rafael G. Torres IV.

Eva’s family will receive condolences on Monday, January 13, 2025, at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. @ PortAve., from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM; with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 AM on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church followed by Rite of Committal and Interment at Rose Hill Memorial Park.

Serving as pallbearers are Jesse Mendez, Rudy Camareno Jr., Ricky Camareno, Ruben Camareno, Roland Camareno, and Jesse Camareno.
