Evangelina (Soliz) De Los Santos

Evangelina De Los Santos passed away on Monday, April 4, 2022, at the age of 89.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Evangelina was dedicated to her family and was always attentive to the needs of her children. She worked for Corpus Christi I.S.D. at Carroll High School for many years in the cafeteria/Food Services Dept. She was a great cook who enjoyed spending time at the ranch with all her family laughing, sharing memories, and enjoying a delicious meal. Her favorite holidays were Easter and Christmas because she was surrounded by all her family. She also loved to watch her novellas. She was a strong faithful woman, who was active in her church. Evangelina is preceded in death by her parents, Eduardo and Eva Soliz; brothers, Eddie Soliz, Paco Soliz, Servando (JoAnn+) Soliz, and Leonel (Alma+) Soliz; brothers-in-law, Fred Lopez and Chano Sanchez; sister, Norma (Manso+) Soliz ; daughter-in-law, Elieen De Los Santos; and sister-in-law, Connie Soliz. Left behind to cherish her memory are the love of her life and husband of 70 years, Claudio De Los Santos; her daughter, Elizabeth (Adolfo) Estrada; her sons, Mario De Los Santos and Robert (Vickie) De Los Santos Sr.; brother, Mayo Soliz; sisters, Irma Sanchez, Lucy Lopez, and Lesvia (Robert) Soliz; grandchildren, Veronica (Rudy) Herrera, Nadia (Lee) De Los Santos, Rupert (Tiara) Cadena, Joseph (Kimberly) Cadena, Vanessa (Ramon) Rodriguez, Rodena (Victor) Cadena, Gary Cadena, Kassandra (Sam) Cavazos, Lilly (Christian) Cadena, and Robert (Vicente) De Los Santos Jr.; sisters-in-law, Delia Soliz and Mary Soliz; 30 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family. The family will receive condolences on Thursday, April 7, 2022, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, at Trevino Funeral Home Alice, 120 E.
