Evangelina Saenz Morales

Evangelina Saenz Morales passed away on March 28, 2017 at the age of 70, in Corpus Christi, Texas surrounded by her loving family.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Delfino “Vietnam” Cantu Morales, Jr.; daughter, Veronica Saenz; parents, Amalio and Antonia Saenz; brothers, Zacarias Saenz, Peter Saenz, and Jose Angel Saenz;

Evangelina is survived by her sons, Oblester (Linda) Saenz, Alexandro (Esmeralda Meza) Morales, and Omar (Valerie) Saenz; brother, Edelmiro (Linda Mitchell) Saenz; sisters, Juanita Espindola, Norma (Rudy Ceniseros) Trevino, Denise (Fidel) Guerrero, and Amalia (Domingo) Bautista; grandchildren, Alexandro Morales, Jr., Brianna Rene Morales, and Violet Olivia Saenz.

The family would like to thank American Medical Hospice Care, Sacred Heart Home Health, New Century Hospice and Rosemary Melendez Morales for the care and compassion they provided for their mom in her time of need.

The family will be receiving friends on Sunday, April 2, 2017 from 4pm – 9pm at Trevino Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara @ Port, with a holy rosary to be recited at 6pm. A chapel service will held at 10am on Monday, April 3, 2017 at Trevino Funeral Home; Interment will follow at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.
