Felix A. Naranjo

Felix A. Naranjo passed away peacefully on March 10, 2025, in Hallettsville, Texas, at the age of 77. Born on July 30, 1947, in Sinton, Texas, to loving parents, Miguel Zaragosa and Tomasa Arevalo Naranjo, Felix lived a life characterized by his passion for music and love for his family.

As a Certified Crane Operator, Felix was respected for his expertise and work ethic.

Music was one of Felix's greatest joys. His love for playing the accordion was more than a hobby; it was a way for him to connect with his roots and celebrate his culture.

Those who knew Felix would fondly recall the big smile that would light up his face when his loved ones came to see him.

Though he was preceded in death by his parents, Miguel Zaragosa and Tomasa Arevalo Naranjo; siblings, Aldolfo Naranjo, Elisa Saldana, Elva Naranjo, Fidel Naranjo, and Herminia Tijerina; and his son, Felipe “Bebe” Naranjo, his memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.

Felix's legacy is carried on by his cherished family and the many friends who were fortunate enough to have been a part of his life. Felix is survived by his children, Felix Naranjo Jr. (Michelle), Melissa Campbell (Carl), Levi Naranjo (Virginia), and Adam Naranjo (Vanessa); grandchildren, Bobby Naranjo (Lindsey), Justin Naranjo (Heidi), Elaine Martinez (Augie), Lorraine Contreras (Adrian), Philip Naranjo, Nathan Naranjo, Azurraie Smith, Jeremiah Caraway (Melanie), Ronsell Campbell, Levi Naranjo Jr., Adam Naranjo Jr., Brianna Maravilla, Racquelle Maravilla, Alexis Maravilla, and Jessie Chavera; siblings, Aurora Martinez, Lucia Carrera (Agapito), Adelfa Moreno, Delia Jaime (Luis), Elvira Esquivel (Mike), Miguel Zaragoza Jr. (Norma), Tomas Naranjo Sr. (Janie), and Arturo Naranjo (Norma); and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends and family.

Rest in peace, Felix, your melody plays on in the hearts of those you've left behind.

A Memorial Service was held Saturday, March 29, 2025, at Kiva Hut, 402 Park St., Taft, Texas. A Rosary was recited at 7:00 PM followed by a prayer service at 8:00 PM.
