Floyd Charles Guyton, Sr.

Floyd Charles Guyton, Sr. was born January 20, 1937 to Jake and Christine Guyton. He passed away January 28, 2023, at the age of 86.

Floyd was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his wife, Alicia Guyton; daughter, Angelita Ashley (Jason) and Adita Rina Espinoza Johnson(Tajuan); sons, Floyd Guyton, Jr. (Naomi), Michael Anthony Guyton (Brenda), Arthur Alvarez (Veronica), John Alvarez, Tony Alvarez, and Alfredo Alvarez; sisters, Linda Wilson Phillip and Mary Guyton; grandchildren, Christopher Hausman, Brandon Charles Guyton, Savanna Guyton, Dylan Guyton, Trista R. Guyton, Jayden Guyton, Ari Alvarez, Jesse Alvarez, Daniel Alvarez, Emily Alvarez, Arthur Alvarez, Jr. , Austin Alvarez, Meagan Alvarez, Arrelia Alvarez, John Alvarez Jr, and Michael Alvarez; niece, Louise Mosley; and numerous great-grandchildren.

The family will receive condolences on Thursday, February 9, 2023, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with a Funeral Service to begin at 12:00 PM, at Heritage Baptist Church, 5217 Yorktown Blvd. A funeral cortege will depart the Church at 1:30 PM for Rite of Committal and Interment at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery with full military honors.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heritage Baptist Church in Corpus Christi, Texas and Round Rock Baptist Church in Round Rock, Texas.
