Francisca Sanchez Ortiz

Francisca Sanchez Ortiz passed away on November 5, 2019 at the age of 92. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.  She will be missed by all whom knew her and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her sons, Octaviano Ortiz and Nicolas Ortiz; her parents, Victor Sanchez and Lina Jasso.

Francisca is survived by her children, Juan (Maria) Ortiz, Tomas (Nerberta) Ortiz, Maria Vasquez, Maria Chavero, Luz (Guadalupe) Medrano, Mauricio Ortiz, Sabina (Eluterio) Fernandez, Lina (Raul) Luna, Alejandro Ortiz and Delfino Ortiz; 36 grandchildren and 55 great-granchildren; two brothers and three sisters; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

The family will receive condolences from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Thursday, November 7, 2019, at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. @ Port; with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm.  On Friday, November 8, 2019, at 9:00 am there will be a chapel service at Treviño Funeral Home followed by the burial at Rose Hill Memorial Park.

Honoring her as pallbearers will be, Guadalupe Medrano, Jr., Eddy Vasquez, Carlos Ortiz, Juan Ortiz, Jr., Octavio Chavero, and Vicente Fernandez.
