Francisco Caballero, a cherished soul known for his loving, kind, and selfless nature, passed away peacefully on July 12, 2024, at the age of 60. Born on January 8, 1964, in Corpus Christi, TX, Francisco was a beacon of light to all who knew him, embodying a spirit of generosity that touched the lives of many.

Francisco is preceded in death by his parents, Nicolas Guajardo Caballero and Ofelia Reyes, as well as his grandparents.

Francisco is survived by his siblings, Mariana Jacobson, Nicholas Bruno Caballero, Jorge Luis Caballero, David A. Caballero, Maria Rita Caballero, Leticia Juana Flores, and Juan Nicanor Caballero. His life was a testament to familial love, and he will be fondly remembered by his numerous nieces and nephews, each of whom held a special place in his heart.

Francisco's passion for the natural world was evident to all who shared in his company. An avid bird watcher, he spent countless hours in nature's embrace, marveling at the beauty and diversity of winged creatures. Francisco’s family will receive condolences on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. @ Port Ave.; with a Holy Rosary and Liturgy of the Word beginning at 11:00 AM. Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park at 1:00 PM.
