Francisco "Pancho" Valadez, Sr.

Francisco “Pancho” Valadez, Sr. passed away on December 31, 2016 at the age of 81. He was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and uncle. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rosaria C. Valadez; his parents, Faustino and Eulalia Valadez; and his brothers and sisters. Francisco is survived by his daughters, Irma (Michael) Horlacher, Virginia Valadez, Connie Valadez; sons, Francisco Valadez, Jr., Oscar Valadez, David (Patricia) Valadez, Juan Valadez, Antonio (Melissa) Valadez, and Raul Valadez; brother, Domingo Valadez; sisters, Dora (Rey) Ysassi and Delma (Juan) Garces; granddaughters, Jeanette (Mike) Silvas, Vanessa Valadez, Valerie Valadez, Celeste Valadez, Rosemary Salazar-Thompson, Pauliana J. Horlacher, Maura J. Horlacher, Victoria (Chris) Roberts, Alexandria Valadez, Bria Valadez, Kindra Canchola, Evangelina Valadez, Mariah Valadez, Katalina Victoria Valadez, and Ysabella Arrianna Valadez; grandsons, Francisco Valadez, III., Luis M. Salazar, Jr., Christopher Salazar, Benjamin Valadez, Andrew (Amanda) Valadez, Gabriel Valadez, Royce Canchola, Vincent Canchola, Matthew Valadez, and Aza Doel Garcia; great-grandchildren, Mikayla, Fabian, Xavier, Benjamin, Jr., Madison, Danica, Aubriella, Jose, Jr., and Logan; numerous nieces and nephews. The family will be receiving friends on Thursday, January 5, 2017 at Trevino Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara @ Port from 4pm to 9pm; with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm. Rites of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, January 6, 2017 at Holy Family Catholic Church. Burial to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
