Freddie Costilla, a cherished father, grandfather, brother, and son, passed away peacefully on September 2, 2024, at the age of 62. Born on November 7, 1961, Freddie's life was one marked by passion, kinship, and the simple joys that make a life well-lived. Freddie was preceded in death by his father, Alfredo Costilla, a man who instilled in him the virtues of hard work and dedication. These lessons carried Freddie throughout his life and were evident in the love and care he provided to his family. He is survived by his beloved daughter, Christi Costilla; his adored granddaughter, Audrie Balli; his mother, Carmen Ortega; his brothers, David and Joe Costilla; and his sisters, Diana Vargas and Irene C. Naranjo. Each of these family members were the cornerstone of his life and he cherished every moment spent with them. Freddie's passion for Monte Carlo cars was more than just a hobby; it was a reflection of his zest for life and the thrill of the journey. He could often be found at car shows or watching races, always cheering for his favorite race car driver, Dale Earnhardt Jr. His enthusiasm for the sport was infectious, and he loved nothing more than sharing this passion with his friends and family. Freddie's life was a testament to his unwavering spirit and his ability to bring joy to those around him. He was a man who found happiness in the simple pleasures of life, whether it was a sunny day spent under the hood of a car or an evening recounting stories with loved ones. His laughter was a melody that will continue to resonate in the hearts of those who knew him. In his professional life, Freddie was respected for his work ethic and his commitment to excellence. He approached every task with a level of care and precision that earned him the admiration of his colleagues. Outside of work, Freddie's generosity knew no bounds. He was always the first to lend a helping hand, and his kindness left a lasting impact on his community. Freddie's legacy is one of love, laughter, and the indelible mark he left on the lives of those fortunate enough to have known him. As his family and friends gather to remember him, they will find comfort in the memories of the time they shared and the knowledge that his spirit will continue to guide them. While Freddie Costilla's time on earth has come to an end, the stories of his warmth, his laughter, and his love for life will be shared for generations to come. He will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on as a beacon of light for all who were touched by his presence.
