George G. Garza

George G. Garza, age 80, passed away Saturday, February 20, 2016. He is preceded in death by his parents, Celestino Garza and Maria De Refugio Solis; brothers: Robert Garza, Teodoro Garza, Gilbert G. Reyes, and Oscar Solis; sister; Ida Garza; two half-sisters, Janie Garza and Connie Garza. He is survived by his wife Maria Hilda Garza; daughters, Mary Grace (Reynaldo)Trevino, Nora(Alonzo), and Anna (Willie) Trevino; son, George (Rosie) Garza Jr.; Sisters: San Juana (Carlos) Gonzalez, Gracie De Los Santos, Bodie (Richard) Blanco, and Ofelia Solis; brothers: Ruben (Sonia) Garza, Arnold (Diana) Garza, and Joel Solis; half-brothers; Gary Garza, BeBe Garza, and Faustino Solis Jr.; 13 great grandchildren and 8 grandchildren. He proudly served his country in the United States Army from August 11, 1955 to May 13, 1957. He was loved by all and will be dearly missed. The family will be receiving friends Monday, February 22, 2016, from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm; with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm at Trevino Funeral Home-Alice, 120 East Front St. Rites of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, February 23, 2016, at 10:00 A.M. Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Old Collins Cemetery. Services under the direction of Bobby Trevino.
