Gerardo Gonzalez Figueroa

Gerardo Gonzalez Figueroa, age 68, passed away on May 17, 2015. Gerardo was a loving husband and father. He served his country with honor; he received a Bronze Star, and was a Vietnam Veteran in the US ARMY. He worked and retired from South Western Bell, and also worked for Thurman Machinery. He will be dearly missed. He leaves behind his loving wife, San Juanita Figueroa; daughter, Lisa Luera; son, Gerardo C. Figueroa; sisters, Helen Mendieta, Mary Ramos; brother, Albert Figueroa; grandchildren, Cairo C. Figueroa, Johnathan Figueroa, Anissa Luera, D.J. Luera. The family will be receiving friends at Treviño Funeral Home 3006 Niagara at Port from 4 pm to 9 pm on Thursday, May 21, 2015; with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7 pm. Rites of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 am on Friday, May 22, 2015, at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church. Burial will follow at 12 pm at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.
