Gilberto V. Perez

Gilberto V. Perez, Sr., age 70, passed away January 12, 2013. He was employed at West Oso ISD for over 10 years and was a member of St. Jude's Praying Group. He loved fishing and BBQ, and was known for being optimistic and always giving a helping hand. He loved spending time with his wife and family, and they will miss him dearly. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Maria Perez; daughters, Yamila Quesada and Josie Aguirre; sons, Eloy C. Rodriguez and Gilbert (Veronica) Perez, Jr.; six grandchildren from Corpus Christi, Gilbert III, Vivian, and Megan Perez and Mauricio, Elaine, and Henry Rodriguez; three sisters in Monterrey, Mexico; a brother in Indiana; seven grandchildren in Ft. Worth; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will be receiving friends at Trevino Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara at Port, on Tuesday, January 15, 2013, from 3 to 9 pm; with a Rosary to be recited at 7 pm that evening. A Chapel Service will be held at Trevino Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 16, 2013, at 10 am. Cremation will follow.
