Gracie D. Ballien

Gracie D. Ballien passed away on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at the age of 68. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and aunt.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Pedro and Isabel De Leon; brothers, Luis De Leon, Gilbert Hernandez, Pedro Barbosa, and Guadalupe Barbosa; birth parents, Santos R. and Eulalia S. Hernandez

Gracie is survived by her husband of 48 years, Robert Sherman Ballien; children, Robert James Piña, Jr., Veronica (Abel) Perez, Ben Ballien, Grace Ann Ballien, and Gabrielle Marie Ballien;12 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

The family will receive condolences on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. at Port from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., where a vigil for the deceased and holy rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. A Chapel Service will be held on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at Trevino Funeral Home at 11:30 a.m. Interment and Committal will follow at Coastal Bend Veterans Cemetery.
