Guadalupe Garcia Espinosa

Guadalupe Garcia Espinosa, a lifetime resident of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away peacefully in her home on February 19, 2018, to be with our Lord and Savior. She was 89 years old, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. Guadalupe dedicated her life to the care of her family. It was her love of family where she gathered her strength and from that strength, a lifetime of perseverance. She will be missed by all who loved her.

She is preceded in death by her husband Julio S. Espinosa Sr.; son, Charles Nicholson III; grandson, Cameron Espinosa; parents, Conrado and Jesusa Garcia; brothers, Fred and Rudy Garcia.

Guadalupe is survived by her sons, Julio (Tay) Espinosa, Jr. Arnold (Prissy) Espinosa, David Espinosa, Mark Andrew Espinosa, Daniel Espinosa, Michael (Josephine) Espinosa, and Steve (Belinda) Espinosa; sisters, Carrie Irwin and Vickie Luis; 19 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren; numerous nephews, nieces, and extended family.

The family will be receiving condolences on Sunday, February 25, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara @ Port; with a Vigil for the deceased and Holy Rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church. Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
