Guadalupe R Gracia

Guadalupe R. Gracia passed away on March 7, 2023, at the age of 73. He was a loving father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, and friend. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Guadalupe proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era. He was assigned to the 101st Airborne Division as an Infantry Soldier during his tour to Vietnam.  Guadalupe also continued serving his community as a postal worker upon his discharge of faithful military service.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Cipriano and Ramona Gracia; sisters, Gertrudes Tarin and Maria E. Garcia.

Left behind to cherish Guadalupe’s memories are his son, Oscar (Brooke) Gracia; daughter, Angela Gracia; siblings, Ezekiel Gracia and Elizabeth Rivera; grandchildren, Sheila Marie Gracia, Desiree Alexandrea Gracia, Avery Noelle Gracia, Mark Gracia, Rodolfo Cantu, and Briyanna Cantu; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. We would like to especially thank Regina Hernandez, his niece, who cared for and loved our dad.

The family will receive condolences on Monday, March 20, 2023, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, at Trevino Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara @ Port Ave. A Holy Rosary will be recited at 12:00 PM followed by a Liturgy of the Word at 12:30 PM. A funeral cortege will depart the funeral home at 1:00 PM for Rite of Committal and Interment at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery with full military honors.
