Guadalupe Salinas, Sr.

Guadalupe Salinas, Sr., age 93, passed away August 14, 2015. He is preceded in death by his parents, Juan and Isidria Salinas; brother, Celestino Rodriguez; and his two beloved dogs, Samson and Homer. He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Maria G. Salinas; daughters, Erika (Paul) Lyman, Frances (Patrick) Olivarez; Mary Jane (Daniel) Lucio; sons, Guadalupe (Lynn) Salinas, Jr., Richard Salinas; grandson, Ethan Lyman; his dog, Bosko; and numerous other grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews and nieces. The family would like to thank the staff at Christus Spohn South, ICU 3rd floor, for their compassionate care. The family will be receiving friends on Monday, August 17, 2015, at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara at Port, from 3 to 9 pm; with a Rosary to be recited at 7 pm that evening. A Chapel Service will be held at Treviño Funeral Home, Tuesday, August 18, 2015, at 10 am. Burial will follow at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery at 11 am.
