Guadalupe Torres

Guadalupe Torres passed away on January 17, 2021 at the age of 81.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend.  She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her father, Fidel C. De Leon, and mother, Marcelina De Leon.

Guadalupe is survived by her husband, Elizandro Torres; daughter, Julie L. Mace (Scott); son, Gilberto Garza Jr.; grandchildren, Gilbert Garza III, Erika Reyna Garza, and Jacob A. Garza; great-grandchildren, Hunter Henry Harrod and IIiana Garza; uncle, Johnny Camacho (Yolanda); and cousins, Johnny Ray Camacho, Rosa and Lupe Baltierra, Ninfa Luna, Pauline Vasquez, Eva De Leon, Velma Cano (Fred), Perla Morales, Ramiro De Leon, Max De Leon (Gwen), Lily Rodriguez (Robert), and Alicia De Leon Williams (Harry).

The family will receive condolences on Monday, January 25, 2021, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. @ Port; with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM.  A mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, January 26, 2021, at Holy Family Catholic Church. Rites of Christian burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.

Face masks must be worn, and social distancing must be practiced while attending funeral services due to the current pandemic.
