Guillermina Regino, born June 25, 1961, in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico, passed away on October 2, 2026, in Houston, Texas.
Guillermina made her home in Corpus Christi, Texas, where she built a life filled with faith, family, friendship, and service to others. She was a familiar and caring presence at Memorial Medical Center, where she worked and formed many meaningful relationships. Her faith was the foundation of her life, and as a born-again Christian, she dedicated her life to Jesus Christ.
She will be remembered for her beautiful singing voice, her joyful spirit, and her love of spending time on her phone while staying connected with family and friends. Above all, Guillermina was devoted to her family and treasured every moment spent with those she loved.
Guillermina is survived by her loving husband, Justo Gonzalez; her sons, Sergio Hernandez and Mario Hernandez; her daughters-in-law, Sara Hernandez and Priscilla Hernandez; and her beloved grandchildren, Donavon, Ian, Theresa, Ramiro, and Rilah Villarreal, who brought her tremendous joy. Her love, guidance, and cherished memories will remain with them throughout their lives. She is also survived by her sisters, Elvia Regino, Alma Zuniga, Paula Cisneros, Maria Devilla Franco, and Laura Hernandez, and her brothers, Juan Pena and Gregorio Regino.
Guillermina was preceded in death by her parents, Theresa Hernandez and Señor Gregorio Regino, as well as her brothers, Jesus Regino, Jose Regino, and Francisco Ovalle.
Her family will forever cherish her memory, her unwavering faith, her loving heart, and the joy she brought into their lives.
Family and friends are invited to gather for Visitation on Monday, October 12, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. @ Port Ave., with a Prayer Service beginning at 7:00 PM. A Chapel Service will be held on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Treviño Funeral Home, followed by Rite of Committal and Interment at Rose Hill Memorial Park where Guillermina will be laid to rest.
Guillermina Regino will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her. Her legacy of faith, love, music, and devotion to family will continue to live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
